Why I started this blog

The reason why I started this blog is because I have always been interested in mental health. Mental health is so interesting to me because a lot could happen to us psychologically. During my free time I would look up various things and read all types of articles regarding mental health, and I learned so much while doing that. Since I learned so much I would love to share with you all about my knowledge regarding mental health; and of course I will be sharing my newly found knowledge regarding mental health. I promise I will not disappoint and you will love my my blog!

  1. Hello Nick,
I am thrilled someone is covering mental health because it is such an important issue that needs to be talked about. For people in college our mental health is hard to keep at a fully functioning level because a lot of people burn out on homework, meeting deadlines, and stress without even realizing that they need a break. This does not even include those people who are affected by homesickness and just overall fear of their futures.
    Great topic

  2. Great introduction! It is amazing that you have such a strong interest in mental health. It is also an interesting topic to me too because it's so different than other health aspects. In some causes it is the most important because having a good mindset changes so many things. I have family members that suffer from mental illness so I am always wondering how I can help/communicate with them so they will feel more comfortable around me. I watched the movie Split and that was sooooo interesting how someone can change personality in a second like he did.
I'm excited to be able to get a better understanding of mental health by reading your blog! :)

  3. Nick,
This is a very great topic. Learning about mental health is very important, especially for us college students. Mental health can affect anyone and I feel like we should openly talk about it. It is hard for undergraduates to maintain good grades, work a job, be active on campus, exercise and many other things. Trying to do all these can cause someone to have mental health issues and just freak out because things are challenging. I look forward to seeing your next post.

  4. Nick,
This is a great topic and something a lot of people struggle with. My mom works with people with mental illnesses, it is a great field and she loves it. I agree that we should be more open to talking about it because it affects many people, yet seems like it sometimes is pushed back. I am excited to get to learn more and see your next blog posts!
